Privacy Policy
The short version: while you are simply reading this site, I collect nothing about you. Data only appears if you type it in yourself — and only where I say so plainly.
Who is responsible for the data. Anjela Petkova, author and owner of anjelapetkova.pro.
For anything about your data: hello@anjelapetkova.pro
When you are just reading
There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no Yandex Metrica, no Facebook or TikTok pixels, no Hotjar. I do not know who you are, where you came from, or what you read.
What is technically unavoidable:
- Hosting logs. The site runs on Vercel. Like any server, it records an IP address and browser type when it serves a page — needed to deliver the page and to fend off attacks. I do not analyse these logs or tie them to people.
- Google Fonts. Pages load the JetBrains Mono typeface from Google's servers, which makes your IP address visible to Google. I am not happy about this and intend to self-host the font.
Courses: before you sign in
The courses at anjelapetkova.pro/guides/ run step by step and remember where you stopped and what you typed into the fields.
All of that lives in your own browser (in localStorage) and is sent nowhere. There is no server behind it. I cannot see your progress or your answers. Clear your browser data and it is gone — and I cannot restore it for you.
The "resume link" button puts your progress into the page address so you can send it to yourself on another device. That link never passes through me: whatever is in it stays between you and whoever you send it to. Don't post it publicly — your answers are inside it.
Courses: if you choose to save your progress
After a few chapters the course offers to take your email. This is optional: declining changes nothing, the course works in full.
Leaving your email agrees to two things, both stated plainly on the card itself: the course saves your work, and Anjela writes to you now and then about working with AI. One unsubscribe link in any letter ends the letters and keeps your progress.
What is stored:
| What is stored | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To recognise you when you return (no password — you sign in with a link), and to send you the letters you signed up for. |
| Course progress: steps completed, the path you chose | To put you back in the same place on any device. |
| The answers you typed into the course: what your company does, who you sell to, your offer | To keep the prompts in the course filled in with your details. |
The legal basis is your consent. You give it by entering your email and pressing save, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking me to delete the account.
I can see this list: who signed up, which step of the course they are on, and what they said about their company. I use it to understand how the course is going, and to keep the letters relevant rather than generic.
What I do not do
- I do not sell your data or hand it to third parties for their own purposes.
- I do not show you ads or build advertising audiences.
- I do not use what you wrote about your business in my own material without asking you first.
- I do not set tracking cookies.
Who else is technically involved
These are processors acting on my instructions:
| Service | Role |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site. Request logs. |
| Supabase | The database holding course accounts and progress. |
| beehiiv | The newsletter service. Your address and what you told the course about your company go there. |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typeface, and sees your IP in the process. |
| jsDelivr | CDN. Loads only for people who signed in to a course. |
Some of these are located outside your country, including in the United States. By sending data you accept that it will be processed there.
How long it is kept
- Progress in your browser — until you clear it yourself. Some browsers, Safari in particular, delete it on their own after about a week of inactivity.
- Account and progress in the database — for as long as you use it. If you have not signed in for three years, I delete the record.
- Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe. Every email carries the link.
Your rights
You can ask me to: show you what data I hold about you; correct it; delete it entirely; give you a copy; or withdraw your consent.
Write to hello@anjelapetkova.pro from the address you used in the course. I answer within 30 days, usually sooner. Deleting an account removes both the progress and your answers — that cannot be undone.
If you are in the EU or the UK and believe I am handling your data badly, you have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. Please write to me first — almost everything gets solved in one email.
Children
This site and its courses are meant for adults working in business. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If what I collect changes, I will update this page and the date at the top. Anyone who left an email will be told about significant changes by email.
